Clear skies,

PNV J16143400-5330050 now has a Sequence but in as much as not in the VSX yet you will have to use the coordiantes rather than the name to chart this FOV and have access to the sequence.
Another caution, until this is in the VSX you will also not be able to report your observations.

Visual Observation:
2018 Oct 14.431ut, 10.5v,
AAVSO chart that was posted here (i.e. Facebook group 'PACA_Transients') used for reference stars.
16"F/4 reflector 76x.
Object had redish colour.

I have observed this stars and found that the position is not correct.
The better position is RA 16 14 32.92
DEC -53 30 14.7
The BVI measurements are with the AAVSO database.
Josch
Thanks Josch, good work! The position in the TOCP discovery report was only approximate, hence the call for better astrometry. Your observations are not showing up in the database yet - could you please repeat them here? Thanks. I imaged the object again with DSLR & lens tonight and it appears reddish. Green channel estimate (~V) was 10.5 (10:27, 14 October 2018 UT).

Had to leave before submission. Results are now in the AAVSO database
B= 11.78 +/- 0.01, V = 10.16 +/- 0,01 and I = 8.1 +/- 0,03
I uncertainty is worse due to the comp stars dim magnitude in I band.

Photometry results were B=12.23, V=10.96, Rc=9.67 and Ic=8.70 with 0.43-m f/6.8 CDK astrograph + FLI PL4710 CCD (T17, iTelescope.NET, SSO, Australia). Position end figures were 32.93 and 14.6 in R.A. and Dec. Strong H-alpha emission line was shown in low resolution spectroscopic images.
