Background/Interesting Fact
- I´m a computer engineer, and I´m interested in astronomy since I was a child.
- Serious in star gazing from 2005 onwards, year in which I managed to purchase my first astronomical stuff and put in contact with other amateurs and spanish associations.
- Willing to participate in amateur projects, specially the ones affordable from light polluted areas, as I don´t have a lot of time to travel to the field, but have the opportunity to watch at home. Also participating in analisys phase. My areas of interest are in general all related to astrometry, photometry and spectroscopy.
- Equipment: Binoculars, Semi-apo 80mm refractor, 8" F/5 Newton, LX200R 8", CCD Starlight SXVF-M7 , DSLR Canon EOS 450D and DMK21AU04 CMOS camera for planetary work, plus mounts, tripods, filters and accesories. Ohh... I almost forget it.. and my eyes ;-).
- As a hobby I must admit that I´m also into astrophotography (I mean not necessarily with scientific value). My gallery at flickr (contains only last year´s debut with DSLR technique):
