Alert Notice 617: Multiwavelength observations of YZ Cnc, SU UMa, and CR Boo outbursts

March 5, 2018: Bob Jacobs (Ph.D. candidate, Radboud University) and Drs. Samaya Nissanke (Radboud University), Jennifer Barnes (Columbia University), and Deanne Coppejans (Northwestern University) have requested AAVSO observers' assistance in monitoring the cataclysmic variables YZ Cnc, SU UMa, and CR Boo. The goal is to build good multicolor light curves of two outbursts of CR Boo and two superoutbursts each of YZ Cnc and SU UMa.

Alert Notice 539: Dwarf novae observations requested for VLA campaign

March 1, 2016: Ms. Deanne Coppejans (PhD candidate, Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands) and University of Cape Town) and colleagues have requested AAVSO observer assistance in monitoring several northern dwarf novae in support of their campaign to observe them with the Very Large Array (VLA) in their ongoing radio jet research. Their research on radio jets in dwarf novae has been discussed in AAVSO Alert Notice 505.

Special Notice #413: SU UMa observations needed now

February 23, 2016: Deanne Coppejans (Department of Astrophysics, Radboud University Nijmegen) requests observations of the dwarf nova SU UMa now in order to determine its status. She and colleagues observed it on 20 February 2016 with the Very Large Array (VLA) and need to know whether it is (was) in outburst.

Observations of SU UMa in the AAVSO International Database from around the time of the VLA observations show it to be in quiescence:

Special Notice #391: Targets Remaining in Northern Dwarf Novae Campaign

December 2, 2014: AAVSO Alert Notice 505 (http://www.aavso.org/aavso-alert-notice-505) announced the campaign on several northern dwarf novae by Deanne Coppejans and colleagues. This campaign, searching for radio jets in dwarf novae, has been moving very quickly! Thanks to your observations and timely notifications, three of the five sets of VLA observations available for the targets have been used on Z Cam, RX And, and YZ Cnc. The PI is extremely appreciative and thanks you all for your excellent work.

Alert Notice 505: Monitoring of Northern dwarf novae for radio jets campaign

October 24, 2014: Ms. Deanne Coppejans (PhD candidate, Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands) and University of Cape Town) and colleagues have requested AAVSO observer assistance in monitoring several dwarf novae in support of their campaign to observe them in outburst with the Very Large Array (VLA) to search for radio jets.

AAVSO ALERT NOTICE 151 (December 24, 1991)

SUPEROUTBURST OF 0203 + 56A UV PERSEI

The cataclysmic variable 0203 + 56A UV Persei is undergoing a superoutburst, as
indicated by the following observations from AAVSO observers:
