Hi,
There's a problem with Vphot. It won't load sequences &c, I get an error message
"No AAVSO sequence available. The AAVSO service might be unavailable.
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
This has been the case for at least several hours.
With kind regards,
/Gustav Holmberg, HGUA.
I am getting the same error, albeit for a standard field:
(Loding the above url in a browser works fine as both http and https and http ends up on https anyway)
Established sequences are available but I cannot use the AAVSO comp catalog. Same error message as previous comments...
I can't load AAVSO comp sequences, and I can't load GCVS or VSX variables in order to make a user defined sequence. I posted this problem, and the error messages, to the VPhot forum earlier today.
Phil
I see the problem. Am working on it.
Sorry for the delay
George
George,
I just noticed that the problem does not effect images that came directly from AAVSO network systems but does effect images from my own system which I uploaded myself.
Phil
VPhot is having problems accessing AAVSO data like comp stars and VSX.
You can upload images and if you are working with sequences you saved before, you should be fine. But with the broken connection you will not be able to build a new sequence.
Engineers are working on this as I speak. But it may be another day....
George
VPhot should be able to communicate with VSD and VSX now.
If there are any other problems, please advise me here.
George
