Greetings,
I have seen for a few stars in VSX that have an A/H= value that seems to range from -1.0 to +0.2 in the remarks. Apparently it was copied from the GCVS. I have searched and searched on the GCVS web pages, the literature and I have not found anything that describes what A/H is.
Anyone got an idea what A and hence H constants are in the original GCVSs and copied to VSX?
Thanks, (DEY)
Hi James,
can you provide us with actual examples of what you are mentioning to have context?
A couple of stars showing such remarks.
Thanks!

As an example in VSX look at KL Aql in the remarks section. It gives B-V for Max/min and then A/H = 0.6
These A/H ratios are picked up from the "GCVS team".
Do you know what the A/H ratio is? Darned if I know!
Thanks.
A/H is the mean metal abundance ratio.
