Hello! Just checking with folks how much time a sync takes fro Astrometry.net. For me, the last few times, SGPro has timed out before sync returned from Astrometry.net through internet. My local Astrometry.net is often slower till recently, so I've started to use that. Best regards.

It heavily depends, sometimes it's really slow (many minutes ) for me so for "real-time" applications like platesolving  integrated into SharpCap to align and resync my mount, I 'm very happy with a local (laptop) installation of astrometry.net 's code which solves in a couple of seconds. Takes up a ton of space for the index files, but pointing accurately is so much faster
