Having reluctantly had to abandon using LCGv1 and start using LCGv2, I find that when I ask it to identify my observations in a light curve, it does not distinguish between the different filters, they are all shown as the "flower" symbol in brown.

Is there any way of

a) changing the symbol used to show my observations (I much preferred the box available in LCGv1)

b) making this symbol different for different filters?

Thanks,

David

Hello David,

I understand your suggestion and it would be good to figure out a way to highlight observations without obscuring the band colors and symbols.

The big issue is that we already have somewhere around 44 possible different bands to display - each with its own color and symbol so we would have to add 44 more to depict the ones highlighted.

Maybe something like circling the symbol in yellow would work?  We are open to ideas.

Many thanks,
Sara
