When entering observations for stars with long names eg. SSS 110222:054119-352415, I get a message which says that no previous chart can be found for this star - even though I have observed it before AND entered the chart.
This has been a problem for some years and I have reported it previously. I observe a number of such stars with long names and it's a nuisance to have to keep inputting the chart.
I would appreciate this being addressed ASAP. I am gettnig my new telescope soon and will be observing more of these 'long name' stars.

Hi Stephen,
Just for clarification, which tool are you using which gives you this message? Is it WebObs? VSP? Something else?
We need to be able to duplicate the problem so if you would please send me a screenshot showing the form as you completed it or a sample file, it would help greatly.

Hi Sara. I use WebObs.
I just entered an observation for 6dFGS g0752425-545120 and here is the message (if I can attach it correctly). I have observed this star a number of times so the chart should show.
