AAVSO Transit Analysis Report Submission Problem

Hi All:

I hope someone can provide a little help as I try to navigate the report submission macros....

Once I had completed the analysis, tested alternate apertures and gone through all the various detrending tests and data input, I selected the 'Create AAVSO Exoplanet Database Formatted...' option from the Multi-plot Main/ File menu and began entering the requested information.

When I completed the third screen, I was asked to select the Measurements file. When I selected the measurements.xls file from my AIJ Analysis Folder, I received the error:   'rel_flux_T1_n'  NOT FOUND. I checked the Measurements files I had created when testing apertures and found that none of them included a column with that label.

I'm missing something somewhere and would appreciate any help on this.

Cheers

Gary,

Please note that the macro requires relative NORMALIZED flux which needs to be added to the Measurements table - see the Help link at the top of the Macro how to do this.

Dennis:

Terrific - thanks.

I checked out a few other folks' report uploads and then uploaded my report and some images. After that I noticed that I had all the files that other reports had but my 'Details' did not include anything listed under the 'Priors' or 'Results' columns. Did I miss something?

re: AAVSO Transit Report

Gary:

For there to be something in the Prior or Results areas, you have to enter something yourself. Please carefully read item 9. in the Help file I referred to earlier - these are free form fields for the observer to enter information.
