I'm creating this topic so that we can streamline the post-workshop discussion. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to share them!
At the workshop, we focused on how you can use TESS to study individual stars of interest. However, LcTools (a Windows-based program written by Al Schmidt) enables you to search for interesting signals in large numbers of light curves (including those from TESS). If you're interested, have a look at Al's AAVSO forum post about LcTools.
Unfortunately i missed doing the data-mining workshop. It would be really helpful if someone can share details of any upcoming workshops. I couldnt find any on the website.
The entire workshop was recorded, and my understanding is that the video will be made available. I'll update this thread when I have specific details.
