Welcome Stella to the Directorship of the AAVSO!
We are facing a new era under your leadership. We are looking forward a fantastic future for the AAVSO!
a warm welcome from cold Belgium for your first day as director of AAVSO. I hope we will have ample possibilities to continue our collaboration now that you are closer to the amateur world of variable stars observers.
I hope to meet you in person on one of the next AAVSO meetings as aparently we missed each other during the past one in Ontario CA.
I look forward to hearing your vision for the AAVSO. You have a tough act to follow after Arne but I'm sure that you are up to the task. All the best to you as you take over the helm of this great organization.
Dear Stella: As with all things in life. There is a beginning and an end. As Arne gets more snow up North. Lets hope that you will cope and bring on a new beginning for the AAVSO. Best HNL or Anna
Great to have you at the helm. Change at the top of an organisation can be difficult but I'm sure the transition from the Arne Era will be as smooth as possible. I heard a rumour that you may attend the Mt John Observatory 50th Anniversary meeting in New Zealand in May. If you do make it there I'll make a point of catching up with you. Cheers,
