Hi,
I am an astronmer at University of North Alabama, and have done variable star work before. We have a 0.35m telescope with and ST10 in light polluted skies with various campus objectsin the way. I wanted to ask the time need to monitor VY aqr. I think we can get it for maybe an hour or so before it passes behind a tree nearby. Is that worth doing or is it too short a time?
