Hi all

I appear to have introduced a polynomial fit bug in raw plot mode in version 2.16.9.

I have implemented a fix that will be part of the next release.

I'll be away at a conference for work from Sep 21 to Sep 29 so the release will not be until Sep 30 at the earliest.

If you need a fixed version sooner than that, contact me or reply to this post and I will send you a URL from which to download a development snapshot.

Poly bug fix

Hello David

I am experiencing the polynomial bug in 2.16.9.  I would be greatful if you can post the new version or send me the url of the developer's copy.

I tried the new java RTE, changed from Chrome to Explorer, as Chrome does not support NPAPI required for JRE.  (Just quoting from the web, really don't have any knowledge here.

Still get the error;  Java.lang.Null.....

Thanks

Poly bug

As with WGR, I am having the problem as well, was waiting for a post here that there was a remedy.  Did I miss something?

Where to get development snapshot

Hi Gary, James

Download the appropriate vstar-* file from here: http://www.users.on.net/~dbenn/vstar/

I'm in the middle of getting a new release out. Apologies for my tardiness in this regard. Being away for 2 weeks and coming back last week to a disrupted work week and plenty of family activities to keep me occupied has delayed things.

I'll do my best to get a new formal release (with more than just this bug fix) out in the next week or two.

Development Snapshot working

Hello David

I got your development snapshot to fix the polynomial bug.  Its working great.

I also noticed the nice purple color for "I" observations.  Nice to distringuish them from the Red ones on the LCG which are kind of red-orange and to my eye, not very distinguishable.

That's great Gary. Thanks for

That's great Gary. Thanks for letting me know!

Also, don't be afraid to change colors to suit your own preferences. smiley

I am making a number of changes towards the next release (mostly bug fixes and small improvements) and I'd like to have a period of open testing for this, using a similar development snapshot. I'll post separately about this sometime in the next week I hope.
