Background/Interesting Fact
I got my first telescope in 1956. It was a 3-inch reflector from Edmund Scientific. This was followed over the years by a 2.4-inch Unitron refractor, a 4.0-inch Unitron refractor, and a 3.5-inch Questar. But for three decades, work and frequent moves caused me to drift away from observational astronomy. Following retirement, I have owned a Meade 8-inch LX200, an Orion ED80T, and a 6-inch Ritchey-Chretien. I am doing CCD photometry using an Atik 314L+ camera and a William Optics GT102 mounted on an iOptron CEM25EC mount.
