Not sure where this might belong, so start here:

Question is, these stars, if they exist, might be under LPV as semi-regular in period?  Or, as indicated in the above reference they might be in dense gobular clusters. Perhaps there have been some of these stars followed over the years and have light curves in the AAVSO database?
