VY Scl
Special Notice #362: OR And and AX For obs critical now
July 8, 2013: The VY Scl variable OR And continues in its low state, so it has been scheduled for HST/COS observations. Based on your observations, the HST/COS team will be making the final decision tomorrow morning (2013 July 9) whether to observe OR And on:
OR And 2013 July 10 11:47:01 through 15:56:12 UT
OR And is ~18V in its low state and ~14.5V in its high state.
Special Notice #360: CC Scl observations critical this week
June 24, 2013: HST/COS is scheduled to observe the SU UMa-type dwarf nova CC Scl:
CC Scl 2013 June 27 02:12:04 through 05:39:30 UT
The HST team will be making a final decision early on June 26 about observing CC Scl based substantially on your observations, so they are essential.
Special Notice #359: OR And monitoring needed for HST/COS campaign
June 12, 2013: Among the research options in the HST/COS CV campaign underway are observing two VY Scl stars in the low state, the only time the white dwarf is observable. OR And is now in its low state, at 18th V magnitude as of 2013 June 11 UT.
Special Notice #336: Next three HST/COS CV campaign targets
February 12, 2013: Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 471 (http://www.aavso.org/aavso-alert-notice-471) and AAVSO Special Notice #330 (http://www.aavso.org/aavso-special-notice-330), HST/COS is scheduled to observe BB Dor on:
BB Dor 2013 February 13 20:57:03 through 23:53:50 UT
Special Notice #330: Next HST/COS targets are IR Com and BB Dor
February 2, 2013: Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 471 (http://www.aavso.org/aavso-alert-notice-471), the next HST/COS target is the SU UMa-type dwarf nova IR Com. HST/COS observations are scheduled for:
IR Com 2013 February 8 00:38:46 through 05:57:49 UT
Alert Notice 469: Observations of TT Ari requested in support of MOST observations
August 25, 2012: Dr. Nikolaus Vogt (Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile) has requested photometry and spectroscopy of the novalike (VY Scl subtype) cataclysmic variable TT Ari in support of upcoming observations with the Canadian Microvariability and Oscillations of Stars (MOST) satellite.
Alert Notice 466: Monitoring of V380 Oph requested in support of HST observations
THIS CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN CANCELLED. SEE AAVSO ALERT NOTICE 468 FOR DETAILS. August 21, 2012
