It seems to be a recurring theme of late that spam/junk messages are appearing on the forum. Perhaps it's just a bit too easy to obtain an AAVSO observer code!
A spammer doesn't have to have an AAVSO observer code, only an AAVSO web account. We try to keep on top of spammers and their posts, but some slip through. I have deleted the spam posts left in several forums overnight and have deleted the spammer's account. My apologies to all for the inconvenience caused by any spam received via the forums!
