I apologize if this question is answered in the forum archives. I've searched but so far haven't found answers.

I'm currently taking the CHOICE CCD Photometry Part 2 class, which shows how to create and use transforms for Johnson/Cousins BVIR filters.

But I have a camera with Sloan filters. How do I go about creating transforms for this system?

More specifically - what areas of the sky should be used as standards? Johnson/Cousins have about half a dozen. But where do I find Sloan areas?

Thanks!

Bruce
