davidjayjackson Affiliation American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) Thu, 10/08/2015 - 19:53 Ok, I just took the plung and bought a SkyAltas 2000.0 (Desk version). The SA has a scale of 7.2 mm per degree. Which scale (A-D) would I use to match the scale of VSP with SA? TIA, David (JDAC) williampme Affiliation American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) Thu, 10/08/2015 - 22:42 scale of S.A. 2000 the closest you can get is to go to the first selection of advanced options and select the maximum field of view - 1200'. That is a very large scale - ok for naked eye location purposes. It won't get a scale large enough to match S.A. 2000 Log in or register to post comments davidjayjackson Affiliation American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) Thu, 10/08/2015 - 23:14 Thanks William Thanks William Log in or register to post comments
