I'm trying to use the macro in AstroImageJ to create the report to upload to AAVSO, but once I select the measurements file it returns an *****ERROR: label'rel_flux_T1_n not found.
In my measurements.xls I don't found this column: what are the steps to create it and others which are needed for AAVSO submitting?
Please go to the help link indicated at the top of the AIJ macro to review how relative normalized flux values can be added to the AIJ measurement table. As you will see, the help guide can be found at astrodennis.com/AIJMacroHelp.pdf.
Dennis et al,
I hope this is the right place for this question...:)
I have about a dozen exoplanet observations that I would like to submit but I am at a loss with the creation of the
Dmag and Rnflux tables that most people submit.
I can create the 'standard' AAVSO report, that seems to work.
In the aavso exoplanet download package, folks have:
"BJD_TBD", "Dmag", "Error", "AIRMASS", "AIRMASS CORRECTION FUNCTION"
On the exoplanet report data fields, 'measurement data and error, I put:
for my detrend, I put AIRMASS as this is what I have selected on AIJ.
I can select either Relative Normalized Flux OR Differential Magnitude and it dose generate a report, similar to the standard report.
do I need to create a macro for this? Dose one exist?
thanks for any help!!!
First, please review if you haven't already, the Help guide for using the AIJ macro that creates AAVSO Exoplanet reports. It can be found at:
Second, please review the Help guide for uploading the report to the AAVSO Exoplanet Database. It can be found at:
If after reading these you still have questions, I'd be happy to have a zoom session with you, in which case you can contact me directly via email at:

Thank you for redirecting me to the right info!! I was able to submit my first exo on the AAVSO, CoRoT-2b. I was able to input my AAVSO report, my site info and one picture of the FOV via EXOTIC file. I tried to upload the final light curve, and some additional info, got some error messages!! I noticed that others were able to upload final light curve, info etc. I'm going to dig through it tomorrow and see if I can figure it out:) if you have any quick answers, that'll be great!!!
