Question about the adopt a star.

I have a question about the adopt a star. Is there any way to mail any documentation to an address for a gift like say a certificate or something? Or is it only done online and I have to show them that way? Sorry if this is clearly stated somewhere.

Hi Josh,

We only send electronic notification, a star chart and thank you letters. You could print the star chart. Then once the year has passed, we send you a light curve of your star from the previous year electronically. All this is explained on the page linked from the donation form- https://www.aavso.org/new-annual-adopt-variable-star-program

If we started printing and mailing charts, certificates and light curves we would have to raise the price to cover the administrative overhead.

Also I adopted a star but noticed my mail address was left blank and in the wrong country :( Is there any way to rectify that?

Your member information in our database says you live in NY. If we were to mail you something it would go to the right country.
