I have an inquiry from an Australian observer who would like to know where to buy quality photometric filters in Australia. Can some of our antipodean CCD observers give me some suggestions to pass along, please?
I never found a source in Oz. Cheaper and easier to order them from Opt in the US. 1.25" astrodon filters are currently US$175 each and as the Aussie dollar is just above parity this isn't too bad. No warantee as they have been bought OS but I don't see much need for a warantee on a filter.
I'm sure there are other shops with them in the US as well. Just need to google them.
