I've been out of circulation

Hi Everyone,

If you have noticed or wondered, I haven't done any observing since very early April. I'll be back at it soon. I had a terrible last 3 years in my teaching job due to a principal treating me very poorly. It caused me lots of stress and health issues. That problem is finally resolved and I have moved up to the high school in the same town. Plus, I will be teaching my specialty, Earth/Space Science. We have an entire 9 weeks of astronomy!!! It's been at least 12 years since I have had that situation.

So, I hope that once I get acclimated to the new school, my stress level will lower, and I will be back in the observing in about 4-6 weeks.

Besides, it has been 100-105 degrees everyday for almost 3 straight months, and thick mosquitoes. I find as I get older I cannot take 85 degree nights with 90% humidity. It doesn't even clear up until after mid-night.

So, I'm glad many of you are actively observing, and I should be back in the swing of things soon.

Out of circulation

Hi:  Yes,  getting older does do that and I have been suffering from 90's and can't take the humidity

I am in the Northeast and it is unusual for it to be this hot and humid.  Glad to see life is improving for you and hope that that you will love your new job and doing astronomy.

Best from a solar observer and trying to do the best for Solar Maximum.
