Having trouble wit VPHot today.
It's logging me out before I can even finish reducing and transforming.
In addition TransformApplier fails and returns error message
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to vphot.aavso.org.
- The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
- Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
The early log-out thing has plagued me for a couple years. It seems to come and go, and it doesn't happen on very many days. It doesn't seem to be a VPHOT program thing, but rather an AAVSO web page security thing. It seems un-predictable.

Thanks Ray,
Reassuring that it's not just me, (which it sometimes is).
I just tried again to get my T CrB obs up but failing at TransformApplier
#:-)
Most of my upload problems, including this secure-file hitch, seem to be more related to Windows 7 on my end.
Windows 11 has far fewer problems. The Transform Applier has failed here at times, but is usually related to my feeding it bad files or files that are too long.
Software like this is tough to maintain, and fixing one problem can produce other glitches. Hopefully the VPHOT team can get through the current conundrums.

I just tried again and the (hurried) auto log out seems better but the problem with
TransformApplier persists. I wanted to submit data quickly especially T CrB but I guess I'll have to submit untransformed results.
I'm seeing a different issue with TransformApplier -- I'm getting a "This site can't be reached," even if I go there immediately after logging in, once I hit "Create Transformed AAVSO Report." This has been going on all week for me, although it started with a 503 Service Unavailable error.
I also get logged out of VPhot about once every half hour, sometimes faster. Bit of a pain when I'm processing a whole night's worth of datasets. That's been going on the whole time I've been submitting data, like the last three years!
