Background/Interesting Fact
To observe variable stars I use a binoculars 20x80 with tripod. I always use the AAVSO charts to observe and to estimate the magnitudes of the stars. Only when is necessary I use the magnitudes of the software Stellarium. The limit magnitude is 10.0 on the best nights. . Presently I have estimated magnitudes of stars using photographies took by friends . The site below is in Portuguese
