Background/Interesting Fact
I'm a Dutch astronomer who left Utrecht in 1982. Worked in the USA on the solar flare and coronal mass ejection, on mass loss from stars, remote sensing, astronomical archives, and now in the UK on the ultraviolet optical instrument of the Swift satellite. It is very exciting and fun. I've a lot of uv spectra of novae from Swift, and we've got a large catalogue with photometry of the sources in the observed fields.
