Hi all,
In 2015 I put together this document showing different eruptions of U Gem as seen by the Heliospheric 1 images aboard the STEREO spacecraft. The 2010 eruption was first spotted by Jiango Ruan (China). Perhaps some of the later eruptions might have been detected simultaneously from Earth?
The eruption from May-June 2008 seems to be shorter and fainter than the other ones observed by STEREO.
