Render issue with the menu on the main page

Hi,

The main page seems to render weird in Chrome: portions of the menu (see attached picture) get rendered under DIVs from the news part.

I got the same results with

I got the same results with IE and Firefox....my guess is  that   none of the 3 browsers are 100%  W3C compliant.

Firefox for Mac

This problem doesn't occur with Firefox 34.0 for Mac (OS 10.9.5).

The problem also with Opera,

The problem also with Opera, although I have installed the latest version.

Rendering issues

I'm using Chrome Version 39.0.2171.71 m on Win 8.1 and have no issues at all.  Also fine using the same version on Win 7.

Funny ...

Funny ... I run "39.0.2171.71 m" on Windows 7 ...

Maybe it was fixed, and I need to clear out my cache ...
