A new ARAS (Astronomical Ring for Access to Spectroscopy) web page gather the spectra of novae obtained by amateurs around the world.
http://www.astrosurf.com/aras/novae/Novae_Aras.html
For each nova, one will find the basic data, a spectrum (when exists), the AAVSO light curves and the links to amateur results :
- Aras Forum
- Personnal page
- (Possibly) Aras specific page like V407 Cyg nova outburst (http://www.astrosurf.com/aras/V407Cyg/v407cyg.htm)
This page can not claim to replace a real database
but has the advantage of centralizing the many observations of amateurs collaborating around Aras.
I just have to create a new table for the third nova in sagittarius (Nova 2012 Sgr #4) ...
Best regards
