I am setting up a nightly observing log for each nights imaging session.
So far...this is what I have.
Set date and time on computer using time.gov. Also write down in log.
Write down location with lat, long, elevation. I have three primary locations plus will be traveling.
Equipment log: Mount, Telescope, Camera, filters, focuser setting, cooling temperature, binning.
Weather from nearest National Weather Service station. Temperature, humidity, barometer, dew point, visibility.
Weather from Atmosperics app: Cloud cover, Transparency, Seeing, Wind, Temperature, Dew Point, Moon phase and rise time.
Local weather comments to supplement above.
From Sky Meter: darkness readings for N45, O90, S45, W45, E45
I am debating whether to add the file location of flats and darks to the page.
I am trying to limit the amount of information so it all fits on one page.
Anything I missed??
