Discovered by S. Kaneko, Shizuoka-ken, Japan, with on 13-s exposure on four frames using Canon 6D digital
camera + f/3.2 200-mm lens under the limiting mag = 15.7, who writes that nothing is visible at this location on two frames taken on December 11 and 12 UT. There is a faint star (mag.= 17.5) at end figures 19s.55, 42".8 on USNO-A2 catalog."

USNO-B1.0 catalog has a 17th to 18th magnitude star at 102.581337 +30.045345 J2000 (observation epoch 1976.3) about 1.95 arcsec from the reported position. This star shows significant variability between the first and second set of observations. See attached screenshot from Aladin
