If you would like to learn the basics of VStar use, you are in luck!
Starting next Monday, May 8th and running for four weeks through June 2nd, experienced VStar instructor, JoDee Baker-Maloney will be teaching the ever-popular How to use VStar CHOICE course. In this class, not only will you learn to create and maipulate light curves, but you will also find out how to get the most out of the many features VStar has to offer - from making phase or mean plots, to loading data from multiple sources, to simple period analysis - and much more. As with all CHOICE courses, the material will be presented and discussed through a special online forum. There will also be weekly quizzes and a final exam designed to test your knowledge and give you feedback on your progress.
Please note that completion of this course is a prerequisite for the new, more advanced CHOICE course "Analyzing Data with VStar" which will be offered in June for the first time ever.
The course costs just $30 for members, $50 for non-members.
