We are excited to announce the launch of our new forums! You can access it forums.aavso.org. For questions, please see our blog post. The forums at aavso.org/forum have become read-only.
Yes, it seems there is no longer access to any member's profile via the Member Search tool on the AAVSO home page whether they opted in or out. I can see and edit my own profile but I can't see the profile for anyone else. It this intentional? If not, I'd like to see this fixed.
Hi Degen1103, we're currently in the process of transitioning our website to a new platform, and as such we've had to temporarily disable the find member functionality. We expect to have these changes released within a few weeks. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
In the meantime, you can try to find AAVSO members using Google with this query: "site:aavso.org [username]"
When it comes time to put the AAVSO home page all back together please pay special attention to the Profile and Account links. Currently, when I click on links to my Profile I am sent to my Account, and vice versa.

Hi Aru,

There appears to be no way to change one's password.
