Getting a time series tonight at 180 Sec in Rc, with a Planewave CDK-17. SNR is only about 22, binned 2x2, possibly during an eclipse/dip(?)
Should I shoot at 240 sec and get a slightly better SNR, or can the data be used at a little over 20?
Clear skies,

I was able to get one hour of time series on this star last night, 3-4h UTC July 10, and then clouds came in. I'm using a Celestron C9.25 with a V filter and 300 sec exposures, and I'm getting SNR of about 50. I didn't notice anything obvious during the period I captured.
I expect to have better conditions tonight, although I understand this is getting towards the end of the expected eclipse window.
Thanks,
-Joe
It's really bad...
Here, in Quebec, the sky is covered by the smoke from the forest fires that come from Ontario.

Nex time!...
I uploaded about 2 hrs worth in V,I and Clear. Celestron C-14 Edge HD
I just uploaded 7 hours of data from last night, 2:30 - 9:30 UT (short summer nights). Is there the need for additional nights? If not, I plan to return to my regular targets tonight.
I didn't notice any dimmings in my data.

Does anyone know if we should continue time series on this one?
