I am new here, first post :-)
Started occacional variable star obs 1 1/2 year ago but since moved my equipment to a remote spot back in March it is becoming more and more my main activity slowly replacing collecting pretty pictures. Also joined AAVSO membership last weekend.
After having processed first light curves with Muniwin and StarCurve I now moved to AstroImageJ as getting well along with it.
In StarCurve there been a fuction of determinating and plotting min/max as well as the period on the light curve chart. Also there been a separate section on the chart for residual / error mag.
Can you give me a hint on finding such functionality for the light curve plot in AIJ? I went throught quite some available tutorials of AIJ but is there maybe a specific one for the various chart plotting also explaining airmass detrending, etc. in more detail?
