Hello everyone,
I am a newbie to the forum. I am very interested in astronomy, and particularly spectroscopy. I have background in other types of spectroscopies (Raman, fluorescence, time-resolved etc) and now I am dipping my toes in the astronomical spectroscopy. In past few months, I build a 3D printed star spectrograph using Christian Buil's Star'Ex design, with some customization.
I submitted my first spectrum to the database for the star alf UMa. I would love to get any feedback on that spectrum. I am getting resolution of around ~ 5000 with my setup. As summer is approaching in pacific midwest, the skies are going to get clear, and I plan to do some more spectroscopic observations.
Best regards,
Dinesh

Thanks for the comment, JBD. I look forward to your feedback and comments on the spec. I hope it gets approved soon.
I wonder if generally it takes long to get approval.
