Exclude data from plot?

Is there a way to exclude data from a VSTAR plot?

ie; can I exclude an observer (myself?) from a data plot of the last 300 days and it's phase plot?

Found it; Select observations and EDIT, Delete selection. Works great, but tedious.

Exclude observations by creating a filtered set

Hi Ray

You can exclude multiple observations by:

creating a filtered set of observations (see Filtering Observations, p 42 in VStar manual), then...
selecting only the Filtered series in the Plot Control Dialog, then...
selecting all observations in the observation list (click on one row then ctrl-a on Windows, command-a on Mac, for example), then...
Edit -> Exclude

Does that make sense?

Makes sense

But what if I want to exclude some wild data, but filter data by JD also? So then I get two lines in the filter and must I exclude them both, rather than just the one line.

Anyway, I got around the problem somehow. I think I didn't put a filter on JD

Hi Ray It may just be that you need a more complex filter. If you want to describe the condition under which an observation should be filtered, I can give you a filter expression. David
