Error submitting Transformed Obs

When I submit the transformed output from TA, via WebsObs, I get the following error message:

There was an error trying to process your file. You must have the line "#TYPE=VISUAL" or "#TYPE=EXTENDED" at the top of your file so we can know how to process it. Contact webmaster@aavso.org if you have any questions.

Trouble is, there does seem to be a correctly formatted "#TYPE=EXTENDED" on my file (see attached).

Hi Paul,

The error message you got is misleading. Your file is fine except that it was saved as "CR" (carriage return) rather than "CRLF" (carriage return line feed) type. Try opening it in your plain text editor and see if you can change that.

Thanks Sara.

But I am using TextEdit on a MacBook Pro and I don't see any settings that would allow me to change the file as you suggest.

All I have done is Save the output from TA into the Clipboard and copied straight from there into the Apple TextEditor ???

Text Error

I downloaded and loaded your txt file into notepad. Not sure that your apple text editor is putting cr breaks in the correct place. It almost looks like one long line?? Try an alternative editor?
