I see that surveys will be major topic of discussion at the fall meeting. I have tried, with little success, to discover what publicly-available data products are going to be coming out of the major surveys. For instance, will any produce light curves for all the stars imaged? Or light curves for selected "interesting" stars? Over what magnitude range? And how quickly will these products be distributed?

I'm looking forward to seeing the reports (or videos) from the fall meeting.
I think that the most we can realistically hope for from the big surveys is that they make it relatively easy to search and download the data. I'm hoping that VStar plug-ins for these surveys will eventually be available.

It would be good to see a prioritised list of observation sources of interest come out of the meeting.
I know there's already been an expression of interest in a Gaia plug-in.
If there are people interested in writing VStar plug-ins (observation source or otherwise) but don't know how to get started, please let me know. I could always use more help with this.
