An observing campaign on the T Tau star BP Tau in support of multiple Chandra observations is announced in AAVSO Alert Notice 493 and the precise times of the Chandra observations are given in AAVSO Special Notice #378.
Two observations per night through the observing season and TIME-SERIES OBSERVATIONS during the Chandra windows are requested. Dr. Hans Moritz Guenther, who has been very appreciative of the crucial assistance AAVSO observers have given him in the past, is again requesting assistance.
