APASS is not returning any stars in a search around 16:54:43.74 -19:16:31.1 radius = 0.12 (degrees).

It may not be possible to draw this conclusion from the DR6 coverage map, but there appear to be stars at those coords. Am I missing something here?  The white areas on the map lack coverage, correct?

APASS DR6 Coverage

Hi Michael,

You are correct - white areas indicate no coverage.  However, the resolution of that projection is pretty poor, and there will be small areas with no coverage - perhaps mispointing of the mount, or non-coaliagnment of the telescopes, etc.  DR7 will fill in most of the gaps and should be out shortly.
