Next full moon period (Feb 17 through Feb 19 UT), APASS-south will be available for member projects.  We lose about 1-2 magnitudes in limiting magnitude on survey fields during bright time, so I'd rather that APASS be busy doing other science.  I may continue this opportunity for subsequent lunations.

Only objects in the magnitude range V=9-13 should be considered.  We can do any filter combination from BVugriz.  You will only get the transformed, final magnitudes and not the images.  You cannot get closer than 20 degrees to the moon; be aware of the 2.6arcsec pixel size and the 15 arcsec diameter aperture size that APASS uses (that is, isolated targets are best!).  The maximum cadence is about 2 minutes.  You can request multiple targets per night, time series, etc.  The images will be processed by our normal pipeline, and so there can be a delay of up to a week before you will get your results.

If you are interested, please submit your proposal through the usual AAVSOnet submission form on the web site.  If you have any other questions, however, this is the appropriate place to ask them so that others can read the answers!
