I think a simple enhancement that will really help avoid errors in the individual observations time entry would be for the field to either automatically insert the current date/time by default, or state above/below the field "the current date/time is: ..." . For the initial observation, that is. Subsequent entries, it should copy the last entered date/time as the default.

I have had several instances (luckily caught before submitting) when I had a wrong date/time either due to a typo, or year change or other such easy slip-up.

Hopefully this can be implemented very easily. Thanks!
