Friends,
At the begining of the year, a paper was accepted to AJ with AAVSO data on TYC 2505-672-1, an epsilon Aurigae "twin". The same paper was just featured on the "New Scientist" with the title "Record-breaking double star may be cannibalising itself". It is a fun article to read - it can be found under:
https://www.newscientist.com/article/2075432-record-breaking-double-sta…
The paper also appeared on arXiv (so it is freely available to all) under:
http://arxiv.org/abs/1601.00135
Note that the AAVSO observers captured this fascinating object at some of the very critical phases of the light curve (during eclipse and at recovery). Many thanks to all who took observations and made this research possible!
Best wishes - clear skies,
Stella.
