CV Filtered Images for SPVs like DL HER and RR CET?

Hello! As DL HER's season comes to an end, I'm wondering if CV filtered images might be helpful.

I normally image in B,V, and I. However, with two-minute integrations, I end up with 3 or 4 images in each filter during a night's run at this point in time before it goes under 30 degrees altitude west. That does not seem like an efficient use imaging time.

CV filtered images (without B,V,I) would give me 15 images or so - perhaps enough to give an idea of how the period and magnitude are doing? Would this be more useful than 3 to 4 images in each B,V, and I filter at this point in L HER's observing season?

Similarly, RR CET. It is well observed. I presume that interest would peak if the period or magnitude change? Would CV filtered images do this, and then, if a change occurs, resume B.V,I images? Or is there usefulness for continued B,V,I filtered images of such well observed SPVs?

    Thank you and best regards.

Mike
