ASASSN-18abj = AT 2018jro

Bright (11.2 mag) galactic nova or CV candidate in Monoceros, recently discovered by the ASAS-SN team.

More details: https://wis-tns.weizmann.ac.il/object/2018jro

I made 2x30s V and 2x60s B images with T21 reflector of iTelescope.net at New Mexico a few minutes ago. This one is a cropped version of a single 30s V image. B and V photometry will be done later. I'll also create an AAVSO sequence for this field.

The already existing 'comp 83' is marked in the lower left corner.

New AAVSO sequence

New sequence sent to AAVSO Sequence Team. Hopefully the new comp stars will be uploaded into VSD soon, so that new AAVSO chart for this CV candidate can be plotted soon.
