In the "5 Star Tutorial" when it says, "we calculated an
average brightness of the star in 30-day increments" is that a simple mean or moving average/rolling average? Attached is a plot of S_PER comparing 30 Day mean both simple and moving average.

David, if you are referring to the legend for the light curve if Alf Ori, they are simple averages. The data points (for the averages) are 30 days apart.
